In the centre of business environment – the 1st edition of Business Maze
7 tasks, 7 companies, 5 teams and a lot of emotions. Friday, 22th of November, we have organized “Business Maze” a street game dedicated for students and young entrepreneurs in the Olivia Business Centre. It took place on the occasion of a Global Entrepreneurship Week.
That was a pilot version of this kind of event in Tricity. We welcomed 15 young and ambitious people, who were keen to take part in the rivalry. With no doubts, all the participants considered our idea very positively and play the game with a big enthusiasm. “I had a really great time. It was a unique experience to come here and see how the Olivia Business Centre works and looks like. I am very grateful for giving us this opportunity” – says one of the participants.
During 4 hours, teams were solving all the tasks and problems connected with entrepreneurship which we had prepared before, with a help of companies residing in the OBC. The participants got maps and schedule of all the destinations they should visit. “I must say that students were very engaged and excited about the game. They also present us great knowledge, creativity and eloquence” – admits Maciej, one of the organizers. In the end, all the participants gathered in the SkyClub for a small treat and an announcement of the results. The winners are Agnieszka Kędra, Anna Budek and Piotr Duda. They gain an opportunity to do an internship in 3 organizations involved in the project. All the students got a special gifts sponsored by Starbucks.
We put a lot of effort and time to create this event, so we are satisfied that it was successful. We also would like to thank all the companies, which participate in the organization of the ,,Business Maze”. Especially we would like to appreciate the support of Defii, AIP Business Link Tricity, Student Forum Business Centre Club and the Management Board of the OBC. As the Business Maze met with a great interest, we hope to repeat the game in the nearest future!
