Business Model Development workshops during ACCUS General Assembly

The idea of integrated city’s operational system not so long ago was mostly a product of fiction, written by sci-fi authors. Today, in chase of technologies making our life easier, the vision of smart system operating city infrustructure is not so distant.

The smart city technology became pursuing issue both by government and the ICT companies around the world. Making integrated, open, stable and functional platform is a goal of many projects. One of which is ASSUC platform, project founded by international consortium of 27 organizations from 8 EU countries under the INTERIZON ICT Cluster. Hard work of the best companies on the market may in short time give exceptional results. To summarize work and develop new business concepts around the ACCUS platform whole consortium is gathering in Gdansk.

General Assembly of ACCUS consortium is working this week on pressing issues considering project. From technical to business, this week will give solid solutions. One of the issue is commercialization and adjustment of the project to business standards. To resolve that, on 11th and 12th of June specialists from Black Pearls, including our Investment Manager Jarosław Pilarczyk and Public Relations Manager Agata Kukwa will conduct a series of workshops for participants of General Assembly.

We hope to achieve real results, which in term will be introduced and implemented to the project. Our workshops on business model development will include modern methods described for example in Business Model Generation. We are confident that during the workshops participants will create many interesting hypotheses for business model for ACCUS platform.

That event is turning point for smart city concept. ACCUS platform will be tested and implemented in Gdansk. Thanks to the efforts of the consortium we can have working smart city system within few years in Pomerania as one of the first in the world on that scale.
