The last moment to apply for the Galileo Masters 2014 competition!

Until the end of June you can submit idea proposals for the Galileo Masters competition. Its aim is to promote innovative uses of navigation technologies. The best proposals will have the chance to win prizes, internship offers and support for idea commercialization.

The European Space Navigation Competition (ESNC) is an international contest referring to the Galileo Navigation System, which should be in early operation stage by the end of this year. “We are convinced that Galileo Masters is currently one of the most approachable ways to evaluate the business potential for ideas using satellite navigation”, says Hubert Bartkowiak of Kosmonauta.net, the organizer of the Polish edition of the competition.

Proposals submitted for Galileo Masters are practical solutions using satellite data, enabling for example personal localization (tourism) or precise agriculture or industry process management. Ideas might also refer to logistics, transport security or transport supporting systems.

The finalists, will be able to win financial prizes, promotion services, internships in and outside of Poland. They will also be able to present their ideas in front of investors. The proposals will be evaluated by an expert panel and each idea will get a valuable assessment of commercialization potential.
