Black Pearls at study visit in Brussels
26th-28th of November our representative participates in a study visit in Brussels. The main topic of a meeting will concern the new financial perspective of “Europe 2020”and it is directed especially for the regional and local authorities. The visit is organized by the “Pomerania in the European Union” association.
The participants will discuss new system of planning and a realization of a budget within the strategy “Europe 2020”. Another topic concerns the changes connected with a bigger flexibility of funds’ dispose and with a greater responsibility in the area of located funds’ effectiveness. The next part of the meeting will be dedicated to an analysis of the results of the Regional Operational Programme of 2007-2013, including the subject of an audit and its finalization.
The main goal of the strategy “Europe 2020” is achieving an intelligent and sustainable, economical growth through more efficient investments in the education, the innovations, the R+D and the ecology area. Moreover, during the visit will be discussed the instruments of supporting research and innovation (Horizon 2020), biodiversity and climate protection (LIFE +), as well as the initiatives for promoting entrepreneurship and employment among youth.
The invited representatives of local and regional authorities will have also the opportunity to find out about the new guidelines for a regional aid and gain information about new solutions for the cities (RURBAN programme). The prelegents who take part in the event are primarily experts from the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU, well-informed on a future financial perspective. We hope that it would be a great opportunity to prepare the Pomerania region for a new strategy’s entry properly.
